Kye Cole

Kye Cole immigrated to Australia in 2003.  Giving up a carreer as an Engineer Kye dove headfirst into a life of music.  Since forming a band in 2005 Kye has been gigging pretty much steady for a full 6 years and has carved out a niche in the Brisbane/Goldcoast area as a premier Rock/Country Rock performer.  Having played shows such as Mudbulls and Music (www.mudbullsandmusic.com.au), Outback Spectacular, Ewan Race Meet, Charleville Races and many other local and national venues and shows ranging from Albury/Wodongo to Townsville to Darwin, Kye’s entertained a fair chunk of Australia.  He Released a 5 song EP in 2008 “Scenes Like That” and is currently working on a second EP.  Kye doesn’t take any of his success for granted and works hard to expand his abilities.  He takes singing lessons regularily and takes the time for performance rehearsals.  ” I try not to take it too seriously”, says Kye, “Let’s face it… I chose this carreer because of how fun it is, and how exhilariting it can be, but it’s only really fun when it’s really good and the only way to get really good is to take it serious and practice very hard.”  check the gig guide to see where Kye is performing next…or flick him an email: kye@kyecole.com
